KUALA LUMPUR, June 22 (Bernama) -- Eleven Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council Zakat Collection Centre (PPZ-MAIWP) counters will be operating until 1pm on June 24 (Saturday).
PPZ-MAIWP Chief Executive Officer's Office assistant general manager Nor Mukshar Harun in a statement today said the counters had been opened daily throughout Ramadan this year, including on public holidays, to facilitate zakat payment.
"We urge those who have not fulfilled their zakat obligation to do so at any of the PPZ-MAIWP counters," he said.
He said the public could also pay their zakat online via the PPZ-MAIWP portal at www.zakat.com.my.
