LONDON, Feb 2 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE) -- One of the world’s leading crypto publishing platforms, Zloadr, has announced that it is launching a new online cryptocurrency converter calculator, adding to its existing range of digital tools. The calculator acts as an automated world currency and cryptocurrency converter, enabling users of the platform to convert a wide range of global, Government-issued fiat currencies to the value of different cryptocurrencies, and vice versa – quickly and easily. The calculator is expected to rival existing online conversion tools.
Early statistics indicate that bitcoin (BTC) is among one of the most commonly converted cryptocurrencies right now, in line with the coin’s position at the top of the market capitalisation leaderboard. Bitcoin appears to be most frequently considered alongside the United States Dollar (USD) and British Pound (GBP). Ethereum (ETH), second by market cap, is also shown to be popular with users.
Zloadr’s new currency calculator is understood to be one of the most comprehensive online converters available to web users today, not only covering fiat currencies from the Afghanistan Afghani (AFN) to the Zimbabwean Dollar (ZWL), but also including cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, litecoin (LTC), ethereum, ethereum classic (ETC), ripple (XRP), and dash (DASH). Zloadr, which was founded in 2015, conducted an initial coin offering (ICO) of its own token last year, prior to the full launch of the publishing platform.

CANADIAN NUCLEAR LABORATORIES AND TRIUMF TO HOST 11TH TARGETED-ALPHA-THERAPY SYMPOSIUM
Canada’s national nuclear laboratory and leading particle accelerator centre partner to host global forum on targeted radiopharmaceutical therapy
CHALK RIVER, Ontario and VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Jan 30 (Bernama-GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL), Canada’s premier nuclear science and technology organization, and TRIUMF, one of the world’s leading particle accelerator centres, jointly announced today that they are partnering to co-host the 11th Targeted-Alpha-Therapy Symposium (TAT11) to be held from April 1 – 5, 2019 at the Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa.
TAT11 is a global forum for academic and industry leaders to meet and discuss the latest technical, regulatory and clinical developments in targeted radiopharmaceutical therapy. The potential benefits of targeted-alpha-therapy in the battle against cancer and other diseases are significant. While existing radiation treatments target all cells in the vicinity of a tumor, both healthy and cancerous, targeted-alpha-therapy focuses the treatment application to cancerous or unhealthy cells. This limits the overall radiation dose a patient may receive, holds promise of better patient outcomes, and encourages a faster recovery time following treatment.

SCIAKY POSTS RECORD DECEMBER WITH THE SALE OF FOUR EBAM® METAL 3D PRINTING SYSTEMS
The EBAM systems will be used to 3D print titanium structures for aerospace applications, as well as to produce large parts for ground-based military vehicles, and warships
CHICAGO, Jan 30 (Bernama-GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sciaky, Inc., a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries, Inc. (PSI) and leading provider of metal additive manufacturing (AM) solutions, announced today that it has posted record machine sales in the month of December with the sale of four state-of-the-art Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing (EBAM®) systems. The buyers will use the machines to 3D print titanium structures for aerospace applications, as well as to produce large parts for ground-based military vehicles, and warships. Three of the four machines will be the popular EBAM 110 model. The fourth machine will be an EBAM 150 model, which has a nominal part envelope of 146” (3708 mm) x 62” (1575 mm) x 62” (1575 mm), allowing the customer to 3D print the industry’s largest metal parts in-house. All four systems will be delivered around mid-2018.
“Sciaky is proud to deliver more best-in-class EBAM metal 3D printing systems to the marketplace, which will be leveraged in a wide range of land, sea, air and space applications,” said Scott Phillips, President & CEO of Sciaky, Inc. “Now, more than ever, manufacturers are looking for ways to reduce time and cost associated with producing large, high-value parts, and Sciaky EBAM systems have a proven track record of helping manufacturers achieve these business-critical goals.”
Bob Phillips, Sciaky’s Vice President of Marketing, added, “January is shaping up to be another great month for EBAM machine sales, and there will be more exciting industry news coming from Sciaky in the near future.”
As the most widely scalable, metal additive manufacturing solution in the industry (in terms of work envelope), Sciaky’s EBAM systems produce parts ranging from 8 inches (203 mm) to 19 feet (5.79 meters) in length. EBAM is also the fastest deposition process in the metal additive manufacturing market, with gross deposition rates up to 20 lbs. (9.07 kg) of metal per hour. EBAM brings quality and control together with IRISS® – the Interlayer Real-time Imaging and Sensing System, which is the only real-time monitoring and control system in the metal 3D printing market that can sense and digitally self-adjust metal deposition with precision and repeatability. This innovative closed-loop control is the primary reason that Sciaky’s EBAM 3D printing process delivers consistent part geometry, mechanical properties, microstructure, and metal chemistry, from the first part to the last.

NRI ANNOUNCES I-STAR/CORE FOR WHOLESALE BROKERAGE FIRMS
TOKYO, Feb 2 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE) -- Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. (NRI, TOKYO:4307), a leading global provider of system solutions and consulting service, today announced an entirely revamped I-STAR, NRI’s securities back-office solution for wholesale brokerage firms, which has been rebranded as “I-STAR/CORE.” As part of the rollout, all existing I-STAR clients, including global top investment banks, have successfully migrated to I-STAR/CORE as of the end of December 2017, as scheduled.
Financial institutions’ needs are drastically diversifying in response to ever-constant innovation and system reforms in capital markets, including the shortening of JGB settlement cycles. NRI chose to revamp I-STAR, the industry’s de facto standard solution in the Japanese market, to best meet these changing needs, enabling financial institutions to keep pace with the advancement of capital market standards.
As part of the migration, NRI eliminated the mainframe system used for I-STAR and have instead implemented a server-based system for I-STAR/CORE. As a result, I-STAR/CORE provides enriched real-time processing, reliability and expandability. Users are already enjoying a significant reduction of nighttime batch and enhanced monitoring functions for exceptions. Recovery time objective is reduced by half, while security and audit functions are enhanced, and functionality is streamlined.
“We care greatly about the demands of our customers, and as we saw the popularity of I-STAR grow we made sure that we continued to listen to their functionality needs and worked diligently to provide them a solution that addressed them,” says Masaaki Yamazaki, Managing Director of NRI. “The decision to create a revamped system for I-STAR was an obvious one, and we are certain that I-STAR/CORE system will provide increased efficiency and stronger functionality for our valued customers.”
I-STAR/CORE has a dominating share in Japan’s capital markets, including 40 percent of Japanese equity system and 45 percent of Japanese derivative system.
