Stellar Cyber Partners PROVINTELL To Uplevel Cybersecurity Services

Hainan Changjiang Featured Cultural Fashion Show Ends In Style

 

KUALA LUMPUR, April 17 (Bernama) -- The closing ceremony of the "Longing for Changjiang, Encounter Glimmer of Light" theme event at the 3rd China International Consumer Products Expo Fashion Week was held on April 15, in Changjiang Li Autonomous County, Hainan Province, China.

The fashion show integrated the intangible heritage cultural elements such as Li brocade and Li pottery from Changjiang, as well as beautiful natural scenery, and combined with the public welfare project "Glimmering Girl" which supported the growth of women in China.

Together, they traced the traditional culture of the Li people in Changjiang and experienced the collision of fashion trends and local culture, while paying attention to more Li girls who need help, according to Changjiang Li Autonomous County Convergence Media Center in a statement.

The closing ceremony of the fashion week was jointly presented by China's pearl design brand PEARLSTIGE, Chinese designer brand RUOHAN and Hainan Li cultural clothing brand "Bu Li Bu She".

They combined modern and international thinking, integrated traditional culture such as Hainan Li brocade, and launched the "Butterfly Li Brocade Series" fashion clothing.

It showcased China's new force in fashion design and demonstrated the new expression of the transboundary integration of Li brocade culture and fashion trends.

GREENWAY GRID GLOBAL, TEPCO POWER GRID ANNOUNCE SALE OF “ELECTRIC POWER ASSET NFT”



KUALA LUMPUR, April 17 (Bernama) -- Greenway Grid Global Pte Ltd (GGG) and Tokyo Electric Power Grid Co Ltd (TEPCO PG) announced the sale of "Electric Power Asset NFT" on their websites starting on April 3.

According to TEPCO Power Grid Inc in a statement, the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are pictures of TEPCO PG power assets, such as transmission towers and utility poles, that have been digitalised using NFT technology.

The global NFT market is said to be worth trillions yen, and the domestic market is expected to grow from several tens of billions yen to hundreds of billions yen by 2030.

GGG sees this as an opportunity to embrace the expanding Web3.0 trend and produce and sell "Electric Power Asset NFT (Transmission Tower NFT Cards, Utility Pole NFT Cards)" that are based on TEPCO PG's "Transmission Tower Card", which has been primarily used for recruitment purposes.

Furthermore, they plan to collaborate with Digital Entertainment Asset Pte Ltd, which has experience with, and WEB3.0 technical prowess that it has cultivated through, NFT gaming and the NFT market, in order to explore new ways to add value beyond mere ownership of the "Electric Power Asset NFT”.

In producing the electric power asset NFT, TEPCO PG provides photos of facilities that harmonise with the scenery and the stories of each asset from among the electric power assets that it owns, which stretch from the cities to the mountains.

Both the Transmission Tower NFT card and Utility pole NFT card consist 10 types each with different prices and the sales period is until April 30.

Fuzhou Promo Video Highlights Ancestral Wisdom, Art Precious Heritage

 


KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 (Bernama) -- The promo video of Fuzhou city, Fujian province, titled "What You Did Not Know about Fuzhou -- Ancient Buildings", was released recently via overseas social media accounts including "Oriental.Paris", "Discover Fujian" and "Discover Fuzhou".

The video provides a guided tour around Fuzhou, a city with a time-honoured history and culture of over 7,000 years, as well as a history as a well-built city of more than 2,200 years, telling the living stories behind silent ancient buildings to global netizens.

"Gucuo", is the special name for ancient residence and ancient architecture in Fujian local dialect, which generally means "ancient buildings".

The video focuses on the precious heritage of ancestral wisdom and art in which ancient buildings such as Qi Jiguang Temple, Mawei Martyr Temple and Lin Zexu Memorial Hall carry the historical memories of trials and tribulations that stir people's hearts.

Axiata Foundation debuted its Back To School Programme in 2022, consisting of two phases. In phase one, Axiata Foundation spent RM250,000 to provide school supplies and cash assistance to 700 top- performing students from low-income families across 48 Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) schools nationwide. In phase two, Axiata Foundation invited these select students to join its School Leadership Development Programme, valued at RM160,000, in an effort to create greater value and longer-lasting impact for them.
