HIS EMBARKS ON HTCP PROGRAMME

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 15 (Bernama) -- Halal International Selangor (HIS) has embarked on one of the 10 Halalan Toyyiban Eco-Systems under the Human Capital Development Programme -- Halal Technical Competent Person (HTCP). In a statement today, HIS, a subsidiary of Central Spectrum (M) Sdn Bhd, said it was committed towards developing human capital with expertise and knowledge in the Halalan Toyyiban Eco-System which is to ensure the deliverable of halal procedures in business, trade and industries.  "This workshop is the kick-off project to prepare the group of experts as qualified HTCP trainers. They will then conduct the Train The Trainer (TTT) programme.  "The three-day programme will prepare and equip HTCP participants with basic halal knowledge, enhance their knowledge and experience, and enable participants to conduct in-house halal-related training programmes," it said. It said by having qualified HTCP officers, it would create trade opportunities in halal industries and would become a single community for the global market.      This would be in line with HIS tagline, 'Single Community, Global Markets' and HTCP's tagline 'Creating Wealth, Innovating Career', it said.  -- BERNAMA
