American Petroleum Institute presents certifications at OSEA 2014 in Singapore
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 3 (Bernama) -- Two of Halliburton's Indonesian facilities - Badak Base Camp and Batam - received the American Petroleum Institute (API) Specification Q2 Certification, an advanced industry certification standard for oil and natural gas service companies. API recognized Halliburton at OSEA 2014 on Dec. 2. Rao Abdullah, Vice President for Halliburton's Asia Pacific Region, and Shannon Slocum, Halliburton's Vice President, Indonesia, accepted the certificates.
API Q2 is a risk-based quality management system approach that focuses on competency, service design, contingency planning, supply chain controls, preventive maintenance, inspection, service quality plans and management of change. The certification demonstrates an organization's commitment to exceed current generic quality management system standards.
