KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 3 (Bernama)-- KVH Co., Ltd., Asia's leading information delivery platform headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, announced a new backhaul service in Japan that connects Shima Cable Landing Station (CLS) (Shima City, Mie Prefecture) with Tokyo and Osaka through KVH's Ethernet backbone network. This new backhaul service, commercially available from December 15, 2014, will be offered in either 10Gbps or 100Gbps and augments KVH's existing portfolio of backhaul services from Chikura CLS and Toyohashi CLS. Through KVH's extensive domestic network, customers can extend these backhauls to reach 60+ major POPs and data centers across Japan.
