KOBE BIOMEDICAL INNOVATION CLUSTER, ONE OF JAPAN'S LARGEST BIOMEDICAL CLUSTERS, MAKES FIRST APPEARANCE AT MEDICAL FAIR THAILAND

Eight companies from the Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster in Hyogo Prefecture will be taking part in Medical Fair Thailand, Asia's largest medical device exhibition.

The City of Kobe started the "Kobe Medical Industry Development Project" (now called the "Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster" or KBIC) as one of the earthquake restoration projects to recover the economy of Kobe, which was severely damaged by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake on January 17, 1995.
