PACIFIC PRIME SINGAPORE ANNOUNCES 2017 SCHOLARSHIP WINNER

SINGAPORE, Dec 4 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE) -- Pacific Prime Singapore, an insurance advisory firm, is thrilled to announce the winner of their 2017 Scholarship Program. Reginald Lee, a Master’s student studying Tri-Sector Collaboration at Singapore Management University, received the scholarship prize - a USD 1,000 grant to go towards his education expenses. Reginald entered the program by submitting an outstanding essay on the topic, “The impact technology has had on healthcare”.

As a part-time Master’s student, Reginald is also a Country Partnerships Manager at Grow Asia, a multi-stakeholder partnership platform for inclusive and sustainable agricultural development. “I believe education is a key enabler in my quest [to develop sustainable solutions for today’s global challenges]”, Reginald commented. “I am grateful for Pacific Prime’s financial support to become a more effective agent of change.”

Reginald’s winning submission paints the story of a not-so-distant era where technological innovations play a central role in opening up new horizons for the healthcare industry. From 3D printing and nanodevices, to artificial intelligence and robotics, the winning essay presents the many ways in which technology has transformed the multi-faceted aspects of patient care.

“We were very impressed with Reginald’s submission”, said Olivier Zeller, Singapore CEO at Pacific Prime Singapore. “We received an outstanding number of applications this year, and Reginald’s essay stood out as one of the best we’ve seen. This recognition is truly well-deserved and we wish him all the best for his future.”

As a firm believer in education being one of the best investments for the future, Pacific Prime first established its Scholarship Program in 2013 with the goal of helping talented students succeed in their selected area of study. Applications for Pacific Prime Singapore’s 2018 Scholarship Program will open again next year. Submission essays are evaluated based on their style and originality of thought.
