KUALA
LUMPUR, May 16 (Bernama) – Suresh Menon of Credit Guarantee Corporation Bhd has
been appointed as a director at Danajamin Nasional Bhd, the country's
first financial guarantee insurer.
Suresh brings
with him immense experience from a career that spans more than 30 years in
sectors like manufacturing, international financial and debt
markets.
Danajamin managing
director, Mohamed Nazri Omar said in a statement that he was
enthusiastic to start working with Suresh and that other directors joining
Danajamin would be announced in due time.
Danajamin also
bid farewell to five pioneering members of the board of
directors: independent non-executive chairman Datuk Mohammed Hussein,
and independent non-executive directors Abdul Kadir Md Kassim, Datuk
Albert Yeoh Beow Tit and Philip Tan Puay Koon.
Non-independent
non-executive director Datuk Ahmad Badri Mohd Zahir will retire next
month.
