KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 15 (Bernama) -- Yayasan PETRONAS has launched its annual, nationwide series of Christmas celebrations to usher in the year-end festive season by distributing food supplies and festive hampers to 3,500 deserving families from the B40 community via its Sentuhan Kasih Festive programme.
All beneficiaries will be receiving essential food supplies which include rice, cooking oil, flour and festive hampers with an assortment of cookies and festive food items. The distribution efforts commenced on 2 December in Sarawak. In the capital, several Social Welfare Centres, Program Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) and children’s homes were selected to receive distribution items from the Foundation.Yayasan PETRONAS has teamed up with PETRONAS’ regional offices and the Department of Social Welfare (JKM) for the distribution in 12 states across Malaysia namely Johor, Kedah, Kuala Lumpur, Labuan, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, Perak, Perlis, Sabah, Sarawak and Selangor.
