KUALA LUMPUR, May 2 (Bernama) -- Unisys Corporation has announced its Unisys Stealth security software suite is integrated with Dell EMC Cyber Recovery software to provide enhanced protection to clients’ cyber recovery operations.
The integrated solution will be available, beginning next month, according to a statement.
Unisys and Dell EMC deliver secure solutions to demanding environments, including government, banking, airline reservations and cargo handling, addressing high-transaction environments supporting police, port, defence agencies and commercial enterprises worldwide.
“With Stealth and Dell EMC Cyber Recovery, organisations can be confident in their ability to restore business operations after a cyber attack,” said Unisys (Enterprise Solutions) senior vice-president and president, Eric Hutto.
Stealth, which includes Dynamic Isolation capabilities to quickly isolate devices or users at the first sign of compromise, reduces attack surfaces in these environments by creating dynamic, identity-driven micro-segments called communities of interest (COIs).
By establishing secure COIs, Stealth separates trusted systems, users and data from the untrusted which further reduces attack surfaces by encrypting all communication between Stealth-protected assets and cloaking the assets from unauthorised users.
Stealth will also increase security for users of Dell EMC Cyber Recovery whereby, organisations can resume business operations quickly, following ransomware or destructive cyberattacks.

MGA’S NATURAL GAS INDUSTRY WIDE COLLABORATION SUPPORTS GOVT COMMITMENT
KUALA LUMPUR, April 29 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Gas Association (MGA) recently organised a day-long engagement programme, ‘Insights into the Malaysian Gas Industry’, specifically for ministries and government agencies.
This is in line with the Malaysian Government’s commitment to increase the nation’s acceptance of natural gas market reforms and liberalisation.
During the programme, speakers highlighted the significant contribution made by the natural gas industry to Malaysia’s socio-economic progress.
MGA council member, Zahid Osman said Malaysia was the world’s third largest exporter of liquefied natural gas in 2017, with the sector expected to grow robustly right through to 2030.
“This also translates to greater opportunities in the Malaysian market for new and existing players to capitalise on the expanding gas value chain.
“Natural gas also allows for integrated innovative solutions that can secure the nation’s long-term energy mix at significantly lower environmental and economic cost, making it the perfect partner for renewable energy,” he said.
On the other hand, MGA has also voiced a need for a comprehensive Natural Gas Roadmap to be developed in collaboration with stakeholders from across the industry.
The roadmap will actualise the full potential of the industry, spur the low carbon economy and drive the nation’s socio-economic progress, with the association keen to contribute its experience and expertise to develop the blueprint.
Over the years, MGA has also been collaborating with various government and industry stakeholders in developing legislations and policies, including formulating the Energy Efficiency & Conservation Act and being a part of the Thermal Energy Regulation committee to promote an expanded role for co-generation in Malaysia.
