Cloudflare reports global growth in first-quarter

KUALA LUMPUR, May 3 (Bernama) -- Cloudflare, the leading Internet performance and security company has announced its global growth in the first quarter of 2019.
It now protects more than 16 million Internet properties and has more than 175 data centres globally.

“The first quarter is an important one for any company, and we took the opportunity to build out our board, grow our global footprint, and open new offices in key locations worldwide,” said Cloudflare co-founder and chief executive officer, Matthew Prince.
In the first quarter, Cloudflare has added Stan Meresman and Maria Eitel to its board of directors; grew its network to 175 data centres with an addition of 10 new cities; was recognised in the IDC MarketScape; added employees; and, opened a new office in Beijing, China.
