KUALA LUMPUR, May 21 (Bernama) -- MAA Takaful Bhd feted its agency force at the Agency Awards 2015 galore night held yesterday at the Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa in Petaling Jaya.
Themed, "Hei Matau", the event was attended by some 800 top performers and achievers from all over Malaysia, together with 160 award winners.
The theme was derived from the indigenous Maori people, and has been a legendary symbol representing strength, determination, prosperity, peace and good health, the company said in a statement today.
"The highlight of the awards presentation ceremony was the esteemed award, MAA Court of the Table, presented to Esther Lam, whereas the MAA Million Dollar Round Table award went to Faizah Abd Hamid, Andy Wong, Umi Kalsom Mahyudin and Khairil Munaziroh Saad.
"Another prestigious award, the Top Chief Managing Consultants for the Whole Group was awarded to Muhamad Asri Mustaffa, while the award for Direct Group category was received by Iznor Mohd Salleh," it said.
Another event, the annual National Sales Congress is also being organised by MAA Takaful at the Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, on May 21-22.
The event, inspired by the theme, "Be A Star - Transform Beyond Normal", is highly anticipated by all of MAA Takaful's agency force and will see 1,000 participants.
"Be A Star", aims to motivate the agency force to exponentially succeed and enhance their persona as well as work attitude, to the level that they never would have otherwise envisioned.
