AGROBANK OFFERS PRIZES WORTH RM1.4 MILLION FOR TWO LUCKY DRAW CAMPAIGNS THROUGHOUT YEAR 2020/2021
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 (Bernama) -- Agrobank announced the winners of two lucky draw campaigns amounting RM1.42 million through its Kempen Kita-Kita Aje 3 (KKA 3) and Program Sahabat Agro 2020 which lasted for 12 months between year 2020 and 2021.Khadijah Iskandar, Covering President/Chief Executive Officer of Agrobank said, both campaigns were open for the Bank’s new and existing customers around Malaysia, where participants had maintained a low deposit of RM500 through its AgroPrimaS product throughout the campaign period.
“Kita-Kita Aje Campaign and Program Sahabat Agro have been Agrobank’s ‘signature campaigns’ since its first launch in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Both campaigns offer various lucrative prizes in the form of monthly rewards (Sahabat Agro) and lucky draw prizes (KKA) to our depositors.
“Throughout the KKA 3 campaign period, we received participation from 73,908 accounts with a total accumulated deposit of RM173 million compared to 60,000 accounts participation the year before. Meanwhile for Sahabat Agro (Save and Win Category), we received a participation of 44,788 accounts with the accumulated deposit of RM14.5 million,” she added during her speech at the Campaign Kita-Kita Aje 3’s Grand Draw Category and Sahabat Agro 2020 ceremony today.
She said, the KKA campaign has been crafted such that Agrobank’s customers from the rural areas are given the equal opportunity to win a prize through the “Localised Lucky Draw” Category which is open to all customers from 137 branches nationwide.
This year, 1,096 individuals will be announced as winners under the Local Lucky Draw Category with eight (8) lucky customers from each branch and they will stand a chance to win Cash Prizes of RM500 and RM1,000.
“If you see on how the campaign has been design, it clearly portrays that we place great emphasis on the current needs of our customers by offering prizes in the form of cash to benefit all walks of life. For example, for the KKA 3 campaign, the Grand Draw Category consists of two (2) sub-categories, General Category and Junior Category with a total Cash Prize value of RM600,000 which will be shared by five winners for each category,” she said.
According to Khadijah, both campaigns are initiatives by Agrobank, as rewards and incentives in its mission to educate the agri community especially among Agrobank customers, on the importance of having some savings for future needs which will be useful during emergencies such as during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The monthly cash prize money will definitely ease their burden to face any difficult situation to solve their financial problem faced during the pandemic, whether the cash money can be utilised to ease their daily expenses especially for those who have lost their source of income or to start a small business to increase their source of income,” she said.
The third year of the KKA campaign which was held between 1 August 2020 to 31 July 2021 offers various attractive prizes including a Monthly Prize Money of RM4,000 and a Monthly Prize Money (Education Fund) of RM1,000 for two (2) years for the Grand Draw Category.
Meanwhile, the Program Sabahat Agro 2020 – Save and Win Category which was held between 15 Jun 2020 and 15 June 2021, offers various lucrative prizes for two winners for five (5) placements, which includes Yamaha Y15ZR motorcycle, Umrah/Holiday Package or Cash Prize Money of RM8,000, iPhone 12 Pro Max smartphone, Habib Jewels vouchers and 10g Gold Wafer.
