KUALA TERENGGANU,March 17 (Bernama) -- At its annual appreciation dinner last night with Terengganu state government officials, community leaders and NGOs, ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc. (EMEPMI) together with the Terengganu State Education Department recognized 33 primary and secondary school teachers in Terengganu. The teachers were honoured for demonstrating outstanding achievements and excellence in improving students' academic performance, co-curriculum activities and character building efforts in school. Three of the teachers were recognised under the ETP award category for proactively enhancing the teaching and learning of English outside the classroom by optimizing learning resources at English Language Theme Parks funded by ExxonMobil in Terengganu.
Each teacher received a cash award, a plaque and certificate from Terengganu State Assembly Speaker Dato’ Haji Mohd Zubir Embong representing Menteri Besar of Terengganu Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman, and Ernest Miller, Financial Director, ExxonMobil Subsidiaries in Malaysia.
