SYDNEY, March 18 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE) -- Global Switch, the leading owner and operator of large scale cloud and carrier neutral data centre space in Europe and Asia-Pacific, and Bruce Shaw, a multinational construction consultancy firm, today announced that they will collaborate for the second time on the construction of the last two stages of its Sydney East data centre. Bruce Shaw provided full cost management services on stage one of Sydney East which received a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design(LEED) gold rating, and they will continue to do so on the final stages of this project. The new data centre is located on Global Switch's Sydney campus (1.5km from the centre of the CBD) and will ultimately span 73,000 m2, with 83 MVA of utility power capacity.
