KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 20 (Bernama) – Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) is hosting the three-day Education Malaysia Partner Conference (EMPC), beginning yesterday, at the Palace of the Golden Horses Hotel, here.
EMGS in a statement today said the EMPC included pre-scheduled one-to-one business matching meetings between Malaysian education providers and student recruitment agencies.
The institutions are able to meet several agents in a rotating-meeting system, which is generally 15 to 20 minutes long for each meeting based on the timetable set. Specially tailored to the need of industrial players, this session is not open to the public and students.
The EMPC also consists of several seminars and workshops, a welcoming cocktail, meetings, a gala dinner, and several familiarisation tours.
EMGS chief executive officer, Datuk Dr Rujhan Mustafa said: “This is the very first event to be organised in Malaysia to help promote Malaysia’s educational institutions worldwide.
“Our workshop programme is the most comprehensive and cost-effective way to forming effective partnerships between the participants and to brief our counterparts on our industry developments.
“It is also a good platform to share new ideas among the participants and for future business collaborations.”
Some programmes that are specific in the nature of recruitment of international students in Malaysia are also organised for the benefit of all participants.
