PETALING JAYA, Nov 20 (Bernama) -- More than 150 primary school children from the underserved group celebrated Children’s Day at the inaugural Children For Children Malaysia event. This special one-day excursion saw children from various primary schools within the Klang Valley region, enjoy a full day out at KidZania Kuala Lumpur.
The colourful and joyous celebration was held in conjunction with the International Children’s Day which falls on November 20 annually and the launch of Antz World Berhad a non-profit organisation which was setup to provide children with the opportunity to empower their artistic expression with emergent technology.
Organised by Antz World Berhad and supported by KidZania Kuala Lumpur as part of its community outreach event aims to provide underserved children fun, positive activities and life-enhancing experiences that contribute to their development, well-being and their outlook for a happier and brighter future.
The event was also an occasion for the children enjoy a day of fun and spend time bonding with other children without cost and the opportunity of visiting KidZania Kuala Lumpur.
The children were provided with free admission granting them free entry KidZania Kuala Lumpur, that has more than 100 activities at 60 establishments, performing real-life jobs in a simulated, role-playing environment. This experience will help and enable them to have fun while learning valuable lessons in which they can apply in their daily lives.
In addition to the free admission, the children also attended a Children For Children Art Camp and took part in the colouring competition. The camp’s objective was to teach children to work together in groups. They were also taught on positive social learnings such as learn to share, to interact with others, to be responsible for cleanup, and to put materials away.
