​UMW GRANTT IS THE OFFICIAL PERFORMANCE LUBRICANTS PARTNER FOR BORNEO SAFARI INTERNATIONAL OFF-ROAD CHALLENGE FOR THE FIFTH YEAR RUNNING

KOTA KINABALU, Oct 29 (Bernama) – UMW Grantt International Sdn. Bhd. (UMW Grantt), a wholly-owned subsidiary of UMW Group, continues to support and participate in South East Asia’s biggest extreme off-road event; the 29th Borneo Safari International Off-Road Challenge (Borneo Safari).  For the fifth consecutive year, UMW Grantt is the Official Performance Lubricants Partner for the event.  This year, the eight-day expedition is expected to attract 400 specially-modified off-road vehicles and a record 1,220 participants.  They will pass through Beaufort, Sipitang, Keningau, Tenom and Tambunan districts and cover a total distance of around 400 kilometres.  The convoy was flagged-off by Datuk Christina Liew, Sabah Deputy Chief Minister who is also Sabah State Minister in charge of Tourism, Culture and Environment.

UMW Grantt corporate vehicles joining the convoy will be powered by GRANTT QUASAR SAE 15W-40 API CI-4 Mineral Grade.  The GRANTT QUASAR range is formulated with Advanced American Technology that delivers excellent engine performance and protection against engine wear, build-up, corrosion and overheating, even in the toughest driving conditions.
