KUALA LUMPUR, March 14 (Bernama) -- The glass shoe fits, Cinderella!
Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo, one of Japan’s most prestigious international hotels in Shinjuku will host a special Cinderella-based event, entitled ‘World of Glass Dessert Buffet’.
The event will be held at the All Day Dining Jurin Restaurant, on the second floor of the hotel, beginning April 1 until June 30.
It will also portray scenes from the ‘Glamorous Dance Ball’ at the palace, including the princess wearing a tiara, glass slipper placed on a platform and other memorable scenes reflected in the desserts.
Moreover, the hotel will prepare a special site based on ‘Spellbound Maiden Who Became Princess’ concept for guests to take commemorative photographs.
Specially prepared dessert items includes vanilla mousse in the image of Cinderella, sponge cake patterned after horse carriages and 30 different desserts based upon characters and motifs that appear in Cinderella fairy tales.
Previously, the restaurant hosted dessert buffets based upon the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ fable, ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and others.
It served various desserts depicting highly photogenic characters and motifs which were ideal for posts on Instagram and other social media.
