KUALA LUMPUR, March 18 (Bernama) -- Singapore-based Kyowa Kirin Asia Pacific Pte Ltd has established a subsidiary, Kyowa Kirin Australia Pty Ltd (Kyowa Kirin Australia) in Sydney, Australia aimed at launching its global strategic products in the country.
“This is Kyowa Kirin Asia Pacific’s first entry into Oceania and we are excited about the future possibilities. We believe Kyowa Kirin Australia will contribute to the health and well-being of patients and families in Australia,” said Kyowa Kirin Asia Pacific president, Chikakuni Kotani.
Kyowa Kirin Australia was established on Feb 27, this year with paid-in capital of AUD five million (AUD 1 = RM2.90). Its business description would be the sale of pharmaceutical products in Australia.
Kyowa Kirin Asia Pacific is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kyowa Hakko Kirin Co Ltd, a research-based life sciences company, with special strengths in biotechnologies, according to a statement.
The Kyowa Hakko Kirin Group companies strive to contribute to the health and well-being of people worldwide by creating new value through the pursuit of advances in life sciences and technologies.
