MALAYSIA AND CHINA IN COLLABORATION TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHINESE MEDICINE

Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew: The Digital Authentication on Chinese Herbs Will Help to Increase People's Confidence

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 4 (Bernama) -- In order to promote the international status and popularization of Chinese medicine, Chinese herbs can obtain digital-analytic rating certificates that comply with international standards through digital authentication. Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew (Tan Sri Lee) believes that by doing so, the quality of Chinese herbal medicine can be guaranteed, thereby increasing people's confidence in Chinese medicine.

GHHS Healthcare, which was founded by Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Chinese herbal trade and digital authentication with Labuan Digital Authentication Center Inc., Sinopharm (Tianjin) Asset Management Co., Ltd., and Good Health System Limited Qianhai. The MOU was signed at the 2021 China-Malaysia Enterprise Cross-border Cooperation Cloud Matchmaking Conference in the presence of the Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia, Ouyang Yujing, and the Malaysian Prime Minister's special envoy to the People's Republic of China, Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing.

Tan Sri Lee stated that under the terms of this MOU, GHHS Healthcare would purchase Chinese herbs with digital authentication. Through Good Health System Limited Qianhai, Labuan Digital Authentication Center Inc. will conduct digital authentication on Chinese herbs and provide digital-analytic rating certificates that are compliant with international standards.

"Through the collaboration, it will help to improve the relationship between China and Malaysia in the cooperation of trading Traditional Chinese medicine, as well as enabling both countries to collaborate to promote Traditional Chinese medicine and allowing more people to understand its benefits."

Tan Sri Lee strongly recommends Malaysians use Traditional Chinese Medicine. In August, he initiated the Golden Horse Lung Shield Herbal Remedy public welfare program to distribute 100,000 packs of free Lung Shield Herbal Remedy to the public. So far, the program has distributed 30,000 packs of Lung Shield Herbal Remedy. This program was launched by Golden Horse Digital Investment Bank (GHDIB), formerly known as Golden Horse Investment Bank (GHIB), in collaboration with GHHS Healthcare. It received an overwhelming response from the public. Therefore, Tan Sri Lee has purchased 10 machines from China to speed up the production process and hopes to send out the Lung Shield Herbal Remedy to all registrants at the highest quality and fastest speed possible.
