CDC SUPPORTS ANTI-CORRUPTION SUMMIT WITH LIVE STREAM


KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 29 (Bernama) – Commerce Dot Com Sdn Bhd (CDC) will be live-streaming the keynote address of Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, as well as deliberations during the Anti-Corruption Summit 2018 on Oct 30, via YouTube and Facebook.
The one-day summit is being co-organised by Transparency International Malaysia (TI Malaysia) and Aram Global Sdn Bhd.

The broadcast through commercedotcomTV and TI Malaysia’s Facebook platform from Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur will begin at 9am.

The Malaysian premier’s speech is titled ‘A Sustainable Path for Malaysia to Eradicate Corruption’, while during the conference, ‘The Battle Against Ill-Gotten Money: What Needs to Be Done?’, ‘The Need for Protection of Whistle-Blowers for Malaysia Baharu’, ‘Corporate Money and Political Parties – What Would Be the Best for Political Financing Legislation?’ and 'Eliminating Corruption in The Public Sector’, will be discussed.

CDC said in a statement: “The summit’s six plenary sessions will see an exchange of views on corruption and integrity. Some 800 people of various backgrounds will be attending.”

Economic Affairs Minister, Datuk Seri Azmin Ali, is expected to grace the closing ceremony.

The summit also enjoys the support of Petronas, Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB), Telekom Malaysia Bhd, Top Glove, Thumbprints Ltd and MERCER.
